Authorities have been investigating an unbelievable case of parental neglect since last night.
Specifically, a tip was received that an 11-year-old girl might be living alone in a home in Paphos.

Police officers rushed to the scene, where they found the minor girl alone in the house. When questioned by the police, the 11-year-old reportedly said that she lives with her father, who, however, has been abroad for the past two days.
According to the police, an investigation into the incident has been launched, and the girl has been placed in the care of Social Services.
