A low-pressure system is expected to affect the island starting tomorrow. Today, there will be increased cloud cover at times, which is expected to bring isolated showers or even thunderstorms in the afternoon, mainly in the mountains and possibly inland. Winds will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and will gradually strengthen along the windward coasts to strong at 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. Temperatures will rise to around 30 degrees inland, on the southern and eastern coasts, around 28 on the western and northern coasts, and 19 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
Tonight, there will be periods of increased local cloud cover. Winds will be light and downslope, at 3 Beaufort. The sea will be generally calm to slightly choppy, though it will remain slightly choppy locally in the west. Temperatures will drop to 17 degrees inland, around 20 degrees along the coast, and 11 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, the weather will be partly cloudy at times with local showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Hail is possible during thunderstorms. The weather conditions on Friday may be intense or even prolonged.
Temperatures will gradually drop through Friday, falling below average seasonal levels.
