As part of the efforts being made by the police and the Deputy Ministry of Migration to combat illegal immigration and illegal employment, a total of 52 individuals were arrested today.

During an operation by the Aliens and Immigration Service conducted today in the districts of Larnaca and Paphos, 52 individuals were identified and arrested for illegally residing in the territory of the Republic of Cyprus.

Repatriation procedures are already underway for 24 of those arrested and are expected to be completed within the day, while the same procedures will be followed for the remainder.
