Authorities in Limassol arrested a lawyer following a complaint of sexual harassment filed by a 19-year-old woman.

According to what Alpha’s Limassol correspondent, Erika Kavazi, following an operation by the Drug Enforcement Agency (YKAN) in the Mouttagiakas area yesterday, Wednesday, a 19-year-old woman was arrested for possession of a small amount of drugs.

The 19-year-old was taken to the YKAN offices for questioning. A lawyer was called in to represent her, and she subsequently alleged that she had been sexually harassed.

The 19-year-old filed a formal complaint with the police, whose officers then handcuffed the lawyer.

The lawyer was brought before a court this morning, and a case of sexual harassment was filed against him.
