As part of an investigation into a case involving the crimes of conspiracy to defraud, fraudulent transactions involving real estate belonging to another person, the drafting of documents without authority, and other offenses, the police proceeded to arrest three individuals.
The case was reported to the police on June 15, 2026, by two individuals aged 61 and 63, who alleged that a property located in the Nicosia area, of which they are the owners, was transferred to a third party without their consent.
During the investigation of the case, evidence emerged against a 56-year-old woman, who was arrested on 18/6/2026 and, on the same day, was brought before the Nicosia District Court, which issued an order for her to be held in custody for eight days.
Further investigation led to the gathering of evidence against two other individuals, aged 62 and 76.
The two were arrested on June 21 and 22, 2026, respectively, pursuant to court warrants to facilitate the investigations.
The 62-year-old was brought before the Nicosia District Court yesterday, which issued an order for his eight-day detention, while the 76-year-old was brought before the Nicosia DistrictNicosia District Court, against whom an eight-day detention order was also issued.
The Nicosia CID is continuing its investigation.
