In connection with a case of robbery and assault resulting in actual bodily injury, which was committed on August 18, 2026, in the Paphos District, members of the Paphos CID proceeded to arrest a second suspect, aged 22.
The 22-year-old was arrested pursuant to a court-issued arrest warrant and taken into custody to facilitate police questioning. The suspect is expected to appear tomorrow before the Paphos District Court for the purpose of issuing a detention order. (See Police Reports No. 2, dated 08/19/2026, and No. 4, dated 08/20/2026).

The 35-year-old man, who had previously been arrested in connection with the same case, was brought before the Paphos District Court today, which issued an eight-day detention order against him.
The Paphos CID is continuing its investigation.
