As part of efforts to prevent and reduce fatal and serious traffic accidents, members of the Famagusta Traffic Police conducted a enforcement campaign over the past 24 hours on roads where the use of personal mobility devices is prohibited.
During the campaign, 34 citations were issued, involving nine instances of using a device outside a traffic lane, eight cases of failure to wear a helmet, three cases of use in prohibited areas, etc.
