Following an intelligence assessment, police officers conducted searches last night at the home, premises, and vehicle of a 53-year-old man in Larnaca.
During the searches, 215 cartons of heated cigarettes, 101 cartons of cigarettes, and 68 cartons of tobacco (45 and 50 grams), which were found to be duty-free products since they lacked the required markings.

The 53-year-old man who was arrested was fined 19,000 euros by Customs Department officials; after paying the fine, he was released.
