The fire that broke out at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday in a vehicle that was parked at the entrance of an apartment building on Vespasianou Street in central Paphos, according to the authorities.

Members of the Police, the Fire Department, and the Electrical and Mechanical Services, who conducted an investigation at the scene, believe the fire was set intentionally, as traces of flammable material were found.
The car belongs to a 39-year-old woman from Romania who works at a betting agency in Paphos.
The fire caused extensive damage to the 39-year-old’s vehicle as well as to an adjacent vehicle owned by a 60-year-old man.
The fire was extinguished by the Fire Department before it could spread to the apartment building where the 39-year-old woman lives.
