Two suspects appear to be behind the bombing at You searched for Cultural Center | AlphaNews
in the “heart” of Limassol, which caused damage to the building’s entrance and a parked vehicle and alarmed residents in the early hours of the morning.
Speaking on the program “ALPHA News,” the station’s correspondent, Erica Kavazi, stated that closed-circuit surveillance footage captured two individuals on a motorcycle approaching the scene.

Subsequently, the passenger reportedly got off the motorcycle and placed the explosive device at the entrance to the premises, causing an explosion and extensive damage.
The scene has been cordoned off by police. Members of the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation alongside bomb disposal experts.
At the same time, closed-circuit surveillance footage from both the property and other locations in the area is being reviewed so that the police can track down the perpetrators.

The 30-year-old manager stated that he does not suspect anyone in particular. He also pointed out that he has no disputes with anyone.
It is unlikely that the criminal act was aimed at EDON, whose offices are located on the first floor of that building.
It should be noted that the explosion occurred around 3:30 a.m. at the main entrance of the Cultural Center on Megalou Alexandrou Street in the city center.
The explosion caused property damage to the building’s entrance, as well as to a vehicle parked nearby.
