A large number of ampoules containing nitrous oxide (laughing gas) were discovered last night by police officers following a search conducted under a court warrant at a property in the Famagusta district.
Specifically, during the search conducted by members of the Famagusta Police Department, the following were found:

- 271 ampoules containing nitrous oxide
- 47 used nitrous oxide ampoules
- 4 metal canisters and a number of balloons
The person in charge of the premises was summoned to report to the Ayia Napa Police Station for further investigation.
