The fire that broke out last night at an industrial facility in the Aradippou Industrial Zone caused extensive damage, which was brought under control within half an hour, according to a statement from the Fire Department.
A statement from the Fire Department indicates that the call reporting the fire was received at 7:09 p.m.
“The fire broke out inside the facility, which was not in operation at the time, and was brought under control at 7:39 p.m.,” the statement noted.

Five fire trucks and a telescopic boom vehicle from the Larnaca District Fire Stations and the Special Rescue Unit (EMAK) were deployed to extinguish the fire.
Members of the Fire Department conducted searches inside the property but found no trapped individuals.
The property, as well as part of its contents, sustained extensive damage from the fire and the heat.
The scene is being secured by the police pending an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
