Police in Larnaca are investigating a case involving an assault, injuries, and possession of offensive weapons, following an attack that took place at the Sports Club’s grounds, where an event for the club’s fans was held last night.
According to the evidence under investigation, around midnight last night, at the Club’s stadium auxiliary fields, a group of approximately 30 individuals approached and attacked with bats those who had attended the club’s celebratory event.

Three people—men aged 21, 23, and 28—were injured in the attack. The 23-year-old and the 28-year-old, who sustained injuries to their arm and head, respectively, were treated at Larnaca General Hospital, where they were later discharged. The 21-year-old, who was also injured in the face, was transported to Nicosia General Hospital for treatment. His condition is no longer life-threatening.
The Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department is investigating the case.
