The Municipality of Akamas is taking the next step toward revitalizing the historic center of Pegeia by signing the contract for the development of the master plan and the necessary project studies.
According to a statement from the Municipality, the contract was signed with the architectural firm CE Chrysanthou Architects L.L.C. and covers the provision of consulting services for the preparation of the comprehensive design, as well as the supervision of the project’s implementation.
The contract value amounts to €248,500 plus VAT, while the estimated construction cost is approximately €5.3 million plus VAT.
The project includes the development of a comprehensive master plan, the preparation of all necessary technical studies, and the provision of supervision services during the implementation phase.
“The goal of the project is the functional and aesthetic enhancement of the historic center of Pegeia, with an emphasis on preserving traditional architecture, the promotion of cultural heritage, and the creation of a more attractive and modern public space that will meet the needs of residents and visitors,” the statement reads.
