The removal of mobile homes that had recently been set up on a beach near the Larnaca Nautical Club has been completed; according to a report in *Fileleftheros*, the owners were prohibiting swimmers from entering the area.

Following the intervention of the Minister of the Interior, local authorities carried out a “cleanup” operation today, removing the mobile homes and clearing the area.

It should be noted that on a nearby beach there are illegal wooden shacks, which are also set to be removed.
