A seasonal low-pressure system is affecting the region. Today, after the morning’s local low cloud cover and light fog or mist clear, the weather will become mostly clear. In the afternoon, however, there will be locally increased cloud cover, which may bring isolated rain, mainly in the mountains. Winds will initially be variable and light, at 3 Beaufort, before gradually shifting to mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and temporarily locally along the windward coasts up to strong, 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. Temperatures will rise to 37 degrees inland, 31 on the western coast, around 33 on the rest of the coast, and 29 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear, though at times there will be increased low cloud cover, mainly along the coast and in inland areas. Later on and during the early morning hours, patchy fog or mist is expected to form in some areas, mainly in the east and inland. Winds will be light and downsloping, at 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be calm to slightly choppy. Temperatures will drop to 19 degrees in inland areas, around 21 degrees along the coast, and 17 degrees in the higher mountainous regions.
On Monday and Tuesday, the weather will be mostly clear, though there will be periods of increased cloud cover, and there may be some light dust in the air. On Wednesday, the weather will be mostly clear.
Temperatures will gradually drop through Wednesday, settling near average seasonal levels.
