A seasonal low-pressure system is affecting the region.
Tonight, the weather will remain mostly clear, while the coastal areas will see temporary increases in low cloud cover. Later on and during the early morning hours, patchy fog or mist is expected to form locally, mainly in inland and eastern areas. Winds will weaken and gradually become light, blowing downslope at 3 Beaufort. The sea will be generally calm to slightly rough, though it will remain slightly rough locally in the west. Temperatures will drop to around 21 degrees inland, around 23 degrees along the coast, and 20 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
Tomorrow, the weather will be generally mostly clear with temporary increases in local cloud cover; after noon in the mountains, isolated showers cannot be ruled out. Winds in the morning will be variable and light, at 3 Beaufort, gradually shifting to mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and gradually along the coast, moderate to strong and locally strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be generally calm to slightly rough; however, on the windward coasts, it will be temporarily slightly rough. Temperatures will rise to around 39 degrees inland, around 31 on the western and southwestern coasts, around 35 degrees along the rest of the coastline, and around 30 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
Tomorrow night, the weather will be generally clear, while the coastal areas will see temporary increases in low cloud cover. Later, during the early morning hours, patchy fog or mist is expected to form locally, mainly in inland and eastern areas. Winds will weaken and gradually become light, blowing from the downwind direction at 3 Beaufort. The sea will be generally calm to slightly choppy, though locally in the west it will remain slightly choppy.
On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, the weather in most parts of the island will be mostly sunny with occasional increased local cloud cover; however, in the mountains after noon, isolated showers cannot be ruled out.
Temperatures will rise slightly on Tuesday and remain at those levels through Thursday, continuing to hover above the seasonal average.
