Rain, thunderstorms, and hail are coming: Which areas will be affected, and when will the unstable weather subside?

What's the weather forecast through Tuesday?
ALPHANEWSLIVE

A seasonal low-pressure system is affecting the region, while the unstable air mass affecting the island is expected to subside starting Sunday.

Today, the weather will initially be mostly clear, however, after noon, locally increased cloud cover will develop, which is expected to bring isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms in the mountains and inland areas. Hail is possible during thunderstorms. Winds will be variable and later mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and in the afternoon locally strong in windward areas, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. Temperatures will rise to 35 degrees inland, around 30 on the western and southwestern coasts, around 32 degrees along the rest of the coast, and 25 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear, though at times there will be locally increased low cloud cover along the coast. Later on and during the early morning hours, patchy fog or mist is expected to form, mainly in the eastern half of the country. Winds will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly and locally variable, light, at 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to 22 degrees inland, around 23 along the coast, and 18 degrees in the higher mountain areas.

On Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, the weather will be mostly clear.

Temperatures will gradually rise through Monday, reaching slightly above average for this time of year, while a slight drop is expected on Tuesday.
