A 75-year-old woman’s vehicle caught fire in Peristerona in the early hours of Friday morning.
According to the police, at around 3:15 a.m. today, a fire broke out in a car while it was parked in an open shed, outside the home of its 75-year-old owner in Peristerona, in the Nicosia district.
The 75-year-old woman extinguished the fire, which caused damage to the front of the car and the front windshield.
Members of the Police and the Fire Department arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation.
The scene was cordoned off this morning by the police and the Fire Department for further investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
The Morphou Criminal Investigation Department is investigating.
