Seven people were “arrested” in connection with the murder of a 40-year-old man in the early hours of Thursday in occupied Kyrenia.
The incident took place in the early hours of Thursday morning in the parking lot of an apartment building in occupied Kyrenia.
According to KibrisPostasi, a verbal altercation broke out in the parking lot when the 40-year-old man was stabbed and seriously injured.
According to the Turkish Cypriot online press, a man lost his life in the incident, which occurred around 1:30 a.m. As part of the “police” investigation, seven men, aged between 28 and 37, were “arrested.” One of the detainees, a 37-year-old man, was injured during the incident and is under medical observation.

Furthermore, a suspect arrested for the knife attack on a young woman, on Monday at a supermarket in occupied Nicosia, was brought before a “court,” which ordered his “detention” for one day.
The “police” reported that the suspect faces charges of attempted murder, causing serious bodily harm, and illegal possession of a knife. It is added that the man had previously been in a relationship with the victim in Turkey and began stalking her after their breakup.
The suspect reportedly arrived in the occupied territories on July 30 and attacked the woman inside the supermarket on August 3. The victim sustained multiple injuries to her head, neck, chest, and abdomen, as well as damage to internal organs. The young woman’s condition is considered critical.
