A major fire that broke out at a factory in the Aradippou Industrial Area is raging out of control, with the Fire Department battling to contain it.
According to a statement from the Fire Department, a headcount of the staff at the burning factory in the Aradippou Industrial Area was conducted, and according to eyewitness accounts, all employees had evacuated the premises by the time the fire broke out.
Four members of the Fire Department received medical treatment for heat exhaustion, smoke inhalation, or dizziness.

The Larnaca District Fire Station Chief, Mr. Andreas Kettis, has been on site since the early stages of the fire to coordinate the firefighting operation.
Meanwhile, the Chief Fire Officer is at the Crisis Management Center at Fire Service Headquarters to maintain direct contact and oversee overall coordination of the operation.
According to an update from the Fire Department, the fire is raging throughout the factory premises, while efforts to protect adjacent factories and prevent the fire from spreading are ongoing.
A forward command post has been set up at the scene of the fire by the Fire Department Headquarters, and the Ambulance Service and the Labor Inspection Department have been called upon to dispatch officials.
