The scene of the shooting at a building housing corporate offices in Germasogeia remains cordoned off.

Police officers rushed to the scene to investigate, while at the same time, footage from closed-circuit surveillance cameras is being reviewed in an effort to identify the perpetrators.

It is recalled that authorities in Limassol were mobilized early Monday morning following a report of shots fired at a building in the Germasogeia area.

According to initial reports, the building is located on Profitis Ilias Street in Germasogeia and houses the offices of various companies.

The shots are believed to have been fired over the weekend, as the damage was discovered this morning by a woman who works in the building as a cleaner.

The investigation is ongoing.
