The police have released images of the alleged perpetrators of the attempted robbery at a jewelry store in Larnaca that took place this morning, during which they injured the 73-year-old owner of the business.

The individuals pictured are being sought to assist with the investigation into an attempted robbery that took place this morning in the Larnaca district. The photographs primarily show the distinguishing features of the vehicle the suspects used to flee the scene, as well as the face of the person driving that vehicle.

Police are investigating an attempted robbery at a jewelry store in Larnaca. According to the police statement, around 9 a.m. today, Monday, the Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department received a report of an attempted robbery at a jewelry store in Larnaca.

According to the report, an unknown man wearing a black long-sleeved T-shirt and a food delivery company vest, and wearing a black full-face motorcycle helmet, entered a jewelry store and pointed a pistol at the 73-year-old owner.

The owner fought back, prompting the robber to strike him on the head with the pistol, causing a laceration; however, the owner managed to push him out of the store.

The perpetrator fled in a vehicle that was waiting for him outside the store; preliminary investigations indicate that the vehicle was driven by another unidentified individual, likely a foreign national.

The scene has been cordoned off, and the Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department is conducting an investigation. The victim was taken to the hospital, where his wound was sutured, and he is expected to be discharged.
