The police, specifically the Drug Enforcement Agency (YKAN), seized another large quantity of ketamine today, with a total gross weight of 263½ kilograms.

The new large quantity of drugs was discovered in a specific warehouse in Limassol following an assessment of testimony obtained as part of an investigation by YKAN, into the case involving the possession of ketamine, with a total gross weight of over 126 kilograms, which was seized on September 12, 2026, in Limassol, along with other quantities of narcotics, sums of money, and other evidence.
The 126 kilograms and 876 grams of ketamine were specifically discovered during a search operation conducted on September 12 by members of the Drug Enforcement Agency (YKAN) and the Anti-Narcotics Unit (YDAP) at two residences in Limassol, where a couple aged 53 and 51 and another couple aged 50 and 31 reside.
The four suspects were arrested and are being held for eight days pursuant to a court order issued yesterday, September 13, the Limassol District Court, for the purpose of investigating the case.
The investigation is continuing by the YKAN (Limassol Unit).
