The major fire that broke out early Monday morning at a car rental office in Larnaca left nothing but ashes and rubble in its wake.
According to the latest reports, the possibility of a criminal act has been ruled out at this stage.

The scene was cordoned off and examined by members of the Criminal Investigation Department, the Electrical and Mechanical Services, and the Fire Department. The cause remains unknown at this stage; however, various pieces of evidence were collected and will be sent for forensic analysis.
It is recalled that an alarm was raised with the authorities in the early hours of Monday morning, after a report was received around 2:20 a.m. of a fire at a car rental office in Larnaca.
Members of the Police and the Fire Department arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire.
Outside the premises were three cars that sustained damage—the value of which is unknown at this time — while inside the property, an electric bicycle and personal belongings of the 52-year-old property owner were destroyed.
