An unspeakable tragedy; death toll rises to 8

The search operations by the occupying authorities continue with undiminished intensity, in cooperation with teams that arrived from Turkey for this purpose, to locate the 18 people missing in the sea area off Kyrenia, following the maritime accident that claimed the lives of eight people.

Photos published by the Turkish Cypriot newspaper “Yeniduzen” show vessels from the pseudo-state and a Turkish frigate “combing” the sea to locate debris from the ill-fated boat and personal belongings of those on board.
