The Minister of Justice notes that as soon as the email was received, the premises were evacuated and all necessary measures were taken.

“We did what we had to do, as required by protocol. And the investigations are continuing. We have identified who sent it.” Costas Fytiris, Minister of Justice

Information from the police indicates that the message appears to have originated from abroad, while investigations are ongoing to determine the motives behind the act.

“99% of the time—if not more—they are false, but we have an obligation to follow protocol and conduct the necessary investigations with specialized personnel, explosives experts, and dogs to be 100% certain that nothing will happen.” Kostas Fytiris, Minister of Justice

According to the official police statement, nothing suspicious or cause for concern has been found.
