Work has begun on removing existing speed bumps from the road network, the Municipality of Latsia–Geriou informs its residents in an announcement.
Specifically, the announcement states that the work involves 20 speed bumps in the Municipal District of Latsia, 16 speed bumps in the Municipal District of Geri, the reconstruction of 2 existing speed bumps that have been deemed unsuitable, the replacement of an existing hump with a raised crosswalk, and the construction of a raised platform.

During the execution of the work, temporary traffic control measures may be in place, delays, or other minor disruptions to the smooth flow of traffic in the affected areas, the statement notes.
The Municipality of Latsia – Geriou apologizes in advance for any inconvenience or disruption that may be caused and thanks residents for their understanding, patience, and cooperation during the works.
The Municipality states that it is making every effort to complete the work as quickly and safely as possible, with the aim of improving traffic conditions and road safety for the benefit of all residents.
