A seasonal low-pressure system is affecting the region, and on Saturday, a disturbance from the north is expected to affect the island.
Tonight, the weather will remain mostly clear, though at times—and especially along the coast—there will be increased low cloud cover. Later on and during the early morning hours, patchy fog or mist is expected to form locally, mainly in eastern and inland areas. Winds will gradually become downslope and locally variable, light, at 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to around 21 degrees inland, around 23 degrees along the coast, and around 20 degrees in the higher mountain areas.
Tomorrow, after the local low cloud cover and light fog or mist clear, the weather in most areas will become generally clear with temporary increases in local cloud cover; however, after noon in the mountains and possibly in some inland areas, clouds are expected to develop, bringing isolated showers, and the possibility of isolated brief thunderstorms cannot be ruled out. Winds in the morning will be variable, light, 3 Beaufort, gradually becoming mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and temporarily in the southwest in the afternoon up to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be generally calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will reach around 40 degrees inland, around 32 on the western and southwestern coasts, around 34 on the rest of the coast, and around 30 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
