The Limassol – Nicosia highway was reopened to traffic shortly after 3:10 p.m., a section of which had been closed due to a traffic collision that occurred early Saturday afternoon involving a bus and three vehicles, near Mesa Geitonia, in the direction of Nicosia.
The traffic accident occurred when, according to reports, an EAL bus carrying 9 passengers struck the car in front of it, which in turn struck two other vehicles ahead.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident, and the road was closed so that the vehicles could be moved off the road.
Heavy traffic was reported at the scene due to the accident.
