A 30-year-old man, at Larnaca Airport, a 30-year-old man against whom an international arrest warrant issued by the United Kingdom authorities was pending.

Specifically, the 30-year-old arrived this morning at Larnaca Airport on a flight from a country outside the European Union.

During passport control, it was determined that an international arrest warrant issued by the United Kingdom authorities was outstanding against him, for the offenses of murder and the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, which were committed in 2023.

The 30-year-old is expected to appear before the Larnaca District Court tomorrow for the initiation of extradition proceedings to the United Kingdom.
