The Meteorological Service has issued a yellow warning for severe thunderstorms.
The warning will be in effect from 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday until 6:00 p.m. that same day.
According to the Meteorological Service, isolated severe thunderstorms are expected to affect mountainous areas, inland regions, and possibly the eastern coast. Hail is likely to fall during thunderstorms, while rainfall intensity is expected to exceed 35 millimeters per hour in some areas.
The unstable weather conditions affecting Cyprus are expected to lead to isolated severe thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains, inland, and along the eastern coast.
