The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for severe thunderstorms. The warning is in effect from 12:00 p.m. on Monday until 6:00 p.m. that same day.

According to the announcement, isolated severe thunderstorms are expected to affect mountainous areas, the interior, and the northern part of the island. Rainfall intensity may locally exceed 35 millimeters per hour.
