The Nicosia District Public Works Engineering Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Public Works announces that on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, and Thursday, July 9, 2026, between 9:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m., work will be carried out to replace expansion joints
on the Almyros Bridge (between the Pera Choriou, Nisos Kotsiatis exit and the Tseri-Chalepianon) on the Nicosia-Limassol Highway, in the direction from Limassol to Nicosia.
While the work is underway, the left lane will be closed for a distance of approximately 800 meters, and traffic will be routed through the middle and fast lanes. The public is asked to follow the instructions of the police and the temporary signage on the highway.

The Department of Public Works apologizes for the temporary inconvenience caused by the work, which will help improve infrastructure, and asks the public to show the necessary understanding and comply with thetemporary road signs, the provisions of the Highway Code, and the instructions of the Police.
