A seasonal low-pressure system is affecting the region.

Tonight, the weather will remain generally clear, although the western coast will see temporary increases in low cloud cover. Later on and during the early morning hours, patchy fog or mist may form locally, mainly in eastern areas. Winds will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate at 3 to 4, and later light up to 3 on the Beaufort scale. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to around 23 degrees inland and along the coast, and to around 19 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

Tomorrow, the weather will be generally mostly clear, although there will be periods of increased local cloud cover, mainly after noon. Winds will initially be variable and light, at 3 Beaufort, gradually becoming mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and temporarily in the afternoon along the coast, moderate to strong and locally strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be generally calm to slightly rough in the morning; however, by the afternoon, it will become slightly rough along the windward coasts. Temperatures will reach around 39 degrees inland, around 30 on the western coast, around 34 on the rest of the coast, and around 29 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

Tomorrow night, there will be intermittent local increases in low cloud cover, mainly along the coast, while later, during the early morning hours, patchy fog or mist is expected to form locally, mainly in areas to the east and inland. Winds will weaken and become downslope, light, at 3 Beaufort. The sea will be generally calm to slightly choppy, though locally in the west it will remain slightly choppy.

On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, the weather in most parts of the island will be mainly sunny with temporary increases in local cloud cover; however, in the mountains after noon, isolated showers cannot be ruled out.

Temperatures through Wednesday are not expected to change significantly, remaining slightly above normal levels for this time of year.
