The 48-year-old man, who was injured in a serious boating accident at a beach in Protaras, was taken to Nicosia General Hospital, while the 7-year-old girl is being treated at Makarios Hospital.
According to the latest update from the police, the 48-year-old man’s condition is critical, while the girl’s condition is stable and not considered serious.

It is recalled that the serious boating accident occurred at noon yesterday, when, according to evidence currently under investigation, a jet ski, operated by a 17-year-old girl with an 18-year-old female passenger, under circumstances currently under investigation, collided with a towed inflatable boat, of the “sofa” type, carrying five people: two men aged 48 and 43, and three minors aged 7, 11, and 13.
The 7-year-old girl was injured in the collision, suffering a skull fracture, and was transported to Makareio Hospital, while, as the police reported in a previous statement, the 48-year-old man suffered a pelvic fracture.
