The police are investigating a robbery at a bakery that took place early this morning in Limassol.

According to the evidence under review, around 3:30 a.m., a company delivery driver noticed an unknown man inside the bakery, whose face was covered with a hood, attempting to remove the cash register drawer. With the help of a bakery employee, they tried to subdue him, but the perpetrator managed to escape, taking the cash drawer with him, which contained 300 euros.

A second person was waiting for the perpetrator outside the bakery on a motorcycle, and they fled together in an unknown direction.
The Limassol Criminal Investigation Department is continuing its investigation.
