A 79-year-old man is in critical condition following a traffic accident in Nicosia.
Specifically, at around 12:30 p.m. today, the 79-year-old was driving his car on Nikis Avenue when, under circumstances currently under investigation, he collided with a car driven by a 19-year-old.

As a result of the collision, the 19-year-old’s vehicle struck a parked car and came to a stop, causing damage. The 79-year-old was injured and transported by ambulance to Nicosia General Hospital, where he is being treated and is intubated in the Intensive Care Unit. His condition is considered critical by the attending physicians.
The Nicosia Traffic Police are continuing their investigation.
