The police have released the details of the 47-year-old Georgian man who allegedly stabbed his 44-year-old compatriot with a construction tool following a fight at a building under construction in Limassol, were released by the police in an effort to locate him.
It should be noted that the alleged perpetrator fled the scene on foot immediately after the attack, and police are investigating him on charges of attempted murder.
The police are appealing to anyone with information that could help locate him to contact the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department at 25805187, or the nearest police station, or the Citizen’s Hotline at 1460.

The victim of the attack is undergoing surgery, and his condition is described as serious but stable.
It should be noted that the incident occurred at a construction site in the Moutagiakas area shortly before 8 a.m., when the assailant and the victim got into a heated argument, and at some point, the 47-year-old grabbed a construction tool (a drywall cutter) and injured the 44-year-old man in the arm and abdomen.
The two men were coworkers and were working on the same construction site; however, the cause of the violent incident is currently under investigation.
However, a third person—an eyewitness—was present at the scene during the violent altercation and has provided a statement to the police detailing exactly what happened.
