A total of six individuals were arrested by police officers as part of a coordinated operation by the Limassol District Police and the Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Unit, aimed at preventing and combating crime and juvenile delinquency.
According to the Limassol District Police, as part of the operation, two individuals, aged 31 and 36, for possession of burglary tools during the night, illegal possession of drugs, and driving a vehicle without a certificate of roadworthiness and without a registration certificate.
A 46-year-old gamekeeper was arrested for carrying a knife and possessing a device for discharging harmful gas, a 19-year-old was arrested for traffic offenses and possession of a Class B controlled substance, and a 31-year-old woman was arrested for carrying a knife. In addition, one person was arrested because there were outstanding fine warrants against him.
Members of the Limassol Traffic Police also conducted checks on the secondary road network and patrolled rural areas, where they filed 15 reports for various traffic violations.
