The students at the Polis Chrysochous Elementary School returned to school to find plaster on their desks.
As reported on the Alpha Kalimera show by Alpha’s Paphos correspondent, Kostas Nanos, on Friday—three days before the first bell rang at elementary schools—the school board scraped the plaster off the ceilings
As a result, when students returned to school on Monday, they found plaster on their desks and throughout the classroom.
The Parents’ Association complains that for the past three years, the ceiling has been leaking, while water has also been coming out of electrical outlets and devices—such as light fixtures—without any action having been taken by the authorities.
