Earlier today, a father who has not heard from his two children, Saliha Miray Bicher and Mehmet Asaf Bicher, tried to stop the ambulances leaving the port, desperately seeking any information.

“Are they taking my son away?” shouted the father, who was not allowed to enter the port area. “My heart is breaking; my children are gone,” he said, describing his anguish.
The mother of the two missing children is in a similar situation.

With tears in her eyes, the mother appealed to the authorities to intensify their efforts to locate her children.
“My son is 6 years old and weighs 20 kilograms. He can’t protect himself. My daughter’s face is constantly before my eyes,” she said, describing her anguish as the hours pass without any news of their fate.
