The case involving the suspects arrested for allegedly planning to kill twin siblings in Cyprus is taking on new dimensions, as it appears that the list of targets included other individuals whom the mastermind wanted dead. So far, no one has revealed the identity of the person who gave the orders.
The Motive
The three suspects—two Norwegians and one Irishman—who were initially arrested have, so far, remained completely silent. On Sunday morning, they appeared again before the Famagusta District Court, which decided to renew their detention order for another eight days.

At the same time, data from their cell phones is being analyzed to identify new targets of the criminal elements. The two individuals who were planning to commit the murders are suspects in a murder that took place abroad.
Five more Swedes were arrested in Paphos in connection with the case; they were caught shortly before carrying out their murderous plans. They were found in possession of hoods and a firearm.
The FBI is continuing to coordinate with foreign law enforcement agencies regarding the eight suspects, who are known for crimes committed in Sweden, Denmark, and Finland.
The Case
The suspects appear to have been searching online for a hitman, offering a reward of 87,000 euros. At some point, they contacted an undercover police officer from Denmark, who posed as a candidate.

The three suspects provided the hitman with money, ammunition, and a gun. He alerted the authorities in Cyprus about the planned double murder.
