As part of the investigation into the fatal traffic collision that occurred on June 20, 2026, on the Paphos – Limassol Highway, a section of the highway will be closed tonight for the purpose of a reconstruction.
Specifically, the road from the Kanto exit to the Agios Sylas exit will remain closed from 11 p.m. until 1 a.m. the following day.
Traffic on the affected section of the highway will be diverted via the old Paphos–Limassol highway.

The investigations will be conducted by the Traffic Accident Investigation and Reconstruction Unit of the Traffic Police Headquarters, in cooperation with the Limassol Traffic Police.
The Police ask for the public’s understanding regarding any inconvenience that may be caused and urge drivers to be especially careful and to follow the instructions of police officers.
