Power has been fully restored to consumers affected by a technical failure in the Generation System that occurred on Friday morning.
According to an announcement by the Cyprus Transmission System Operator (CTSO), the failure occurred at 11:13 a.m. on Friday and resulted in the loss of the AT/S 3 at the Vasilikos Power Plant, which was operating at 99 MW. As a result, consumer load was shed in various areas of Cyprus.
According to the CTE, electricity supply to the affected consumers was fully restored at 11:20 a.m.
