The fire south of the Limassol–Paphos highway, near the Pissouri exit, has been contained.
However, aerial firefighting aircraft continue to drop water, as winds are blowing in the area. Ground crews are continuing their efforts to fully extinguish the fire and prevent any flare-ups.
