One of the largest quantities of cocaine ever seized by the Cypriot police was located and seized today in Limassol.
After two days of surveillance of specific individuals and residences—to which the Cyprus Anti-Narcotics Agency (YKAN) was led after evaluating intelligence—the agency conducted a raid today, discovering the drugs hidden inside paint buckets.
The amount of cocaine seized is estimated to exceed 100 kilograms.
The police arrested four foreign nationals, two men and two women, who are expected to appear tomorrow before the Limassol District Court for a detention order to be issued.
