An alarm was raised shortly after 3:00 a.m. today, when a fire broke out at a clothing store on the ground floor of an apartment building in the Agios Nikolaos neighborhood, in Limassol.
Members of the Fire Department extinguished the fire, but the store sustained extensive damage.

Police officers arrived at the scene to investigate, and so far, the evidence points to arson.
The scene was cordoned off this morning by the Fire Department and the police to conduct an investigation and determine the cause of the fire. The Limassol Criminal Investigation Department is investigating.
