“They even took a statement from the printer!”: Drousiotis is back and “firing shots”

The printer of the book “Mafia State” has also been taken in by the police
ALPHANEWSLIVE

Journalist Makarios Drousiotis has spoken out again regarding the ongoing investigation into his book “Mafia State,” an investigation that began following a complaint by a CYP official regarding a breach of his personal data.

In his latest post, Makarios Drousiotis lashes out at the state and Nikos Christodoulides, stating that the police summoned the printer who had undertaken the printing of his book today, and took his statement.

“The timing is NOT a coincidence,” he notes, adding that it is “a SYMPTOM of a mafia state…”.

He continues:

“Today, @Christodulides’s
police took a statement from the printer of the Mafia State.
They asked him if he was aware of the book’s content and if he had interfered with it!
Only in authoritarian regimes does the police concern itself with the content and the publication process of a book.
Next up are the booksellers.
Readers, brace yourselves.
A complaint is being investigated by an official of the Cyprus Intelligence Service (KYP), which reports directly to the President.
The investigation began on July 24, the same day that criminal charges against me were filed in Criminal Court.
This timing is NOT a coincidence; it is a SYMPTOM of a mafia state…”
