According to the warning, severe thunderstorms are expected to affect parts of the island, bringing heavy rainfall, and hail is also expected. Storm winds will be variable and will temporarily intensify, with stronger gusts.

Detailed weather forecast

A seasonal low-pressure system is affecting the region, while a disturbance from the north is expected tomorrow.

Tonight, the coastal areas will see locally increased cloud cover at times, which may later lead to isolated showers in the north and east. Winds will generally be variable and light, up to 3 Beaufort, but initially in the eastern half of the island, they will be northeasterly to easterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will remain slightly choppy in the west and locally in the north, but along the rest of the coast it will be calm to slightly choppy. Temperatures will drop to around 21 degrees inland, around 22 degrees along the coast, and around 18 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

Tomorrow, the weather will be partly cloudy at times, with local showers and thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms will be severe and accompanied by hail and gusty winds. Winds will be mainly northeasterly to southeasterly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and locally strong at 5 Beaufort. During thunderstorms, winds may shift and intensify. The sea will be slightly rough and, locally, rough in the afternoon. Temperatures will reach around 30 degrees inland and along the rest of the coast, and around 21 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

Tomorrow night, the weather will become mostly clear, although isolated showers may occur initially along the northern and eastern coasts. Winds will be mainly northwesterly to northeasterly, light to locally moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be rough on the windward coasts, but along the rest of the coast it will gradually become slightly rough.

On Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, the weather will be mostly clear, but clouds developing at midday and in the afternoon may bring isolated showers, mainly in the mountains.

Temperatures will rise on Sunday but will remain below average, at least in the mountains and inland areas. By Tuesday, temperatures are expected to generally return to seasonal averages.
